A Notary has the authority to confirm signers' identity through valid forms of identification documents, witness the signing of documents by willing signers and to administer oaths. The notarization process is complete with the notary signature and affixed seal which protects the signer(s) and the integrity of the document(s). A Notary Public serves and safeguards the public at large.

The document signer(s) must appear in person before the Notary Public
The Notary completes the notary certification by dating, signing, writing the notary commission expiration date, and placing the notary seal on the document.
